â¤ðŸ”¥ðŸ’¡Good morning Christian friend. I have a question for you? Have you found yourself lately struggling with profanity still coming out of your mouth? Or perhaps, gossiping about others, speaking evil about others, or simply still treating others rude with a bad attitude? We all often still struggle with these things since we’re still living in this flesh, which the bible calls ‘body of this death’- Rom 7:24; but thankfully God has shown me the answer on how to treat these faults in our lives. The bible often uses symbols, pictures and similes to use natural objects in life for a spiritual application for our lives. In this tract below, the bible is likened to water. The Holy Spirit wrote through Paul that one of the main ways the Lord Jesus Christ helps cleanse His church from ‘spots, wrinkles and blemishes’- Eph 5:27, is by the cleansing power of the word of God. If this is true, I have another question for you; have you been using the holy bible mouth wash lately? Just like we’ve been taught to brush our teeth and use mouth wash to prevent tooth decay and bad odor, likewise we’re taught from God to consume the word of God in our hearts to prevent spiritual decay and the odor of the works of the flesh from operating in our lives. I want to encourage you this morning, that your Saviour can help you control what no man can tame; that is the tongue.
📖21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 1 Peter 2:21-22 (KJB)
Because Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh, He was able to resist sin while living as a Man. That’s why it wasn’t possible for death to hold Him in the grave; because He had no sin in Him (Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. Acts 2:24 (KJB). Jesus can help you, because He understands how to help humans in this area because of His humanity; and He offers you help to recieve from Him when you seek for it
(Hebrews 4:16).
If you’ve trusted in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, His gospel not only provided you and I the forgiveness of sins (that they may receive forgiveness of sins- Acts 26:18; Eph 1:7; Col 1:14), He also provided us His Holy Spirit to help continually deliver us from the power of sin in us (that he might deliver us from this present evil world- Gal 1:4; Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities- Rom 8:26; the inward man is renewed day by day- 2 Cor 4:16). Lastly, remember what the bible says concerning the operation of our salvation;
📖5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; Titus 3:5-6 (KJB)
Hallelujah for the Comforter, the Holy Spirit; who’s been sent to regenerate our soul, and continually help cleanse us from the power of sin within us by the living and pure word of God.
📖And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Acts 20:32 (KJB)
I recommend you use the holy bible mouth wash daily for a healthier spiritual walk with God, whereby both God and man can see the sweetness of your Saviour living through you, vs the old man in you.
