Don't exalt a man's commentaries above the scriptures, God warned us of how carnal we can become when we begin to divide Christ amongst His ministers 1 Corinthians 1-3. Always compare scripture with scripture. Wherever men agree with plain clear context of scripture, okie dokie then, no problem affirming your position. But where their ( or our own ) commentaries contradict plain clear context, okie dokie then, humbly disagree with them on that point and move on wherever else you may find agreement.
