📡💥🗯Good AM Christian friend, I hope & pray all is well. Friendly reminder that truth shared should be motivated by love. Every time our Saviour spoke truth into the lives of people, reproved people, corrected people etc.; It was motivated out his love for that individual, because as God, He saw the true intents and thoughts of man's hearts Joh 2:25. True love speaks truth. Truth motivated by love does NOT omit truth but rather delivers it's fulness even though it may be rejected by the hearer, scoffed at by the hardened sinner; because truth seeks for the salvation of their soul, ultimately. 1 John 2:21 (KJV) I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. For ex; concerning "charity", it Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth- 1Co 13:6. When you feel the need to "confront" others, "correct" others, or share the gospel with others, remember to check the motive of your heart, the intent. It was God's love that sent Jesus Christ into this world to die for our sins John 3:16. Likewise we should desire to help others, guide others, and speak truth into their lives motivated by love, not for selfish means. Jesus was bold alright, as well as the N.T apostles, but don't forget the context in each of those occasions, usually they confronted those folks who rejected the truth, blasphemed the truth, or sought to hinder other's from obeying the truth. Not everyone will act like this. Colossians 4:6 (KJV) Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. In love- Brother Carlos.
