Christian friend, friendly reminder. Listen to your pastor. God put him in your life to help you, to protect you, to guide you. Satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Once you leave the flock, the safe haven of the church family outside the authority of the Word of God, he will be ready to take you out using false prophets, false teachers, unbelieving family members or friends, or even worst, you. Yes, we can fall to self deception, where anger, wrath, malice and pride can lead us to doubt God's Word, rebel against our pastor and church family, give up on them and other believers trying to help us James 3 & 4, 1 Timothy 4-6, 3 John 1:11 KJV.
