Deuteronomy 10:17-18 (KJV) For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward: He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
Christian friend, here is another great lesson for us to learn. I’d like to share some application with you from this O.T Text although it was written in context unto the nation of Israel, not the N.T Church. God has always been a good God to ALL people, not just the children of Israel, for ex; Acts 14:16-17 (KJV) Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways. Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness. Can you believe that prior to our conversion, His goodness & mercy & loving-kindness was shown us in that He permitted unto us life, breath, movement & being (Ac 17:25); along with rain & food to keep us physically alive. How much more does He desire to pour out spiritual blessings from heaven in our lives, as we abide in His love by obeying His voice daily? He is a good Father friend, let Him continue to prove that to you as you abide in His word daily. In love- Brother Carlos.
