Deuteronomy 8:3 (KJV) And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
Christian friend, here is another great lesson for us to learn. I’d like to share some application with you from this O.T Text although it was written in context unto the nation of Israel, not the N.T Church. Could it be brother or sister, that your circumstance is actually a trial to test your faith of how much you obey God’s word or not? James 1:3 (KJV) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. God does try our faith, not just for Israel back in them days, but even now during the church age. He will try our faith to produce within us a stronger faith, increase our faith, and help our faith; so that at the end of our trail or temptation, we’ll be able to comfort others also. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJV) Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. In love- Brother Carlos.
