To my friends & fellow Christian brethren,
Friendly reminder to warn you of the dangers of false Gospels proclaimed by a multitude of today's professed "Christianity". How can you tell if a religious group/organization, individual, "pastor or teacher" is perverting the true gospel? Simply study 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Kjv & Galatians 1:1-10 Kjv. If they teach you that your salvation requires (ANY) work on your part; such as water baptism + faith in Jesus, church membership + faith in Jesus, good works + faith in Jesus, keeping the Law [ 10 commandments] + faith in Jesus, sacramental observances + faith in Jesus : they are teaching you a false gospel. The Bible condemns any & all such preaching as a perversion of the True gospel. What is the true gospel you might ask? How " that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures". True salvation says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" Romans 10:9 KJV. Salvation therefore is by faith ALONE in Jesus Christ, NOT of works. Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. So, before you get mad or offended at me if you happen to currently be a part of the groups mentioned in today's tract, just know it's not my message or my church traditions that condemns those false gospels, it's the Bible that does. Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh who came to die for our sins, & those of who us who respond to His message with a repent-ful & believing heart in His name, shall be saved. He also came to deliver us FROM our sins so our lives would change by His power. The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints ( LDS or Mormons) have a false gospel, the apostolic assembly churches has a false gospel, the roman catholic church has a false gospel, the seventh day Adventists have a false gospel, the Jehovah's witnesses have a false gospel, the world mission society church of god have a false gospel. But why you might ask? Because they teach that you must add some form of work to the cross-work of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "it is finished"- John 19:30 Kjv Therefore, if Paul reminded the Christians 2,000+ years ago of the dangers of gospel perverts, we as Bible believing Christians should do the same. Where men may get offended, O well. We are not here to please men, but God who gave His life for our sins, that He might deliver us from sinful living!
